| Everyone worked together for the glory of God There were biblically-based, explicitly defined values Ethics and integrity were paramount Love and servant leadership governed relationships Pursuit of excellence was the norm Collaboration was sought but obedience and commitment to final decisions follow Ministry to those in pain was encouraged Selfish ambition was nonexistent Accountability was enforced — in a supportive manner | It sounds really good, doesn’t it? For a worker, it would be a place where you could pursue your calling in a positive, supportive environment without spiritual dualism and without political and personal agendas providing stress and distraction. For an employer, it sounds like a recipe for a successful, motivated organization that would be salt and light in the community. For God, it would be worship. |
