| God is Moving in the Workplace One of the most important and fruitful arenas of ministry exists today in the workplace. Many Christian leaders, like Billy Graham, believe that the next great move of God will occur in the marketplace. As more and more Christians begin to see the work place as a place of ministry, we expect to see the redemption of the workplace through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. You have an important and eternal role to play in this redemption of the workplace. Living your faith in the workplace is essential part of being a mature and equipped believer. It is also an important part of ministering in the workplace as a shining light. Other essentials are prayer, mercy, forgiveness, love, discipling and small group leadership to bring the people in your workplace into a life-transforming encounter with the Kingdom of God. This is very difficult in the worldly environment of the workplace. So, we have created a ministry to help equip you in addressing these roles and the associated difficulties. Perimeter WorkLife Ministry exists to encourage you and give you the tools you need in order to live your faith, share your faith, and be the best Christ-follower you can be at your place of work. What We Mean by the Workplace When we talk about the workplace, there is sometimes a tendency to think in terms of business and the marketplace. However, we are called to work in many other places and the need for transformation is just as important in schools, hospitals, day care centers, homes and even ministries. Wherever you work, your worklife is important to God. | Role of the WorkLife Ministry WorkLife Ministry is a lay-led ministry intended to provide equipping, resources and discipleship materials which will prepare the membership of Perimeter Church and other associated churches to live their faith in the workplace and reclaim the workplace for Christ. We work with and through the existing, established Ministries of Perimeter Church as well as working directly with specific workplace affinity groups. We provide equipping programs and materials for specific Perimeter communities, based on their needs. These communities include: - Members and a regular attenders in the workplace
- Owners, Leaders and Influencers in the workplace
- Elders and Staff of Perimeter Church
- The Next Generation about to enter the workplace
- Pastors who want to minister in the workplace
